Integrated management system (IMS) internal auditor training develops internal auditors who will audit ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (and ISO 27001 if wanted) together in a single audit. Thanks to the shared high-level structure (HLS), it gives command of running the audit efficiently. Participants receive an internal auditor certificate of attendance or achievement.
Integrated management system internal auditor training builds on the shared high-level structure (HLS, Annex SL) of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and teaches how these standards are audited together in a single integrated audit. The training covers auditing the common clauses (context, leadership, planning, support, operation, performance evaluation, improvement) together with the clauses specific to each standard (quality processes, environmental aspects, OHS hazards and risks) through integrated checklists, planning a multi-standard audit, evaluating shared and diverging evidence, reporting nonconformities linked to the relevant standards, and corrective action follow-up. The aim is to reduce the burden of separate audits and to run one consistent and efficient integrated internal audit. The training is reinforced with integrated case studies and audit practical exercises.
The training suits the quality, environment and OHS teams of organizations that run more than one management system together, such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 (and/or 27001). Foundation knowledge of the relevant standards (or foundation and internal auditor training) is recommended. An integrated internal auditor certificate of attendance or achievement is issued at the end of the training. Integrated internal audit reduces repeated auditing and provides consistency in organizations that hold several certificates. Sistem Patent Kalite delivers the training and can support planning and running the integrated internal audit digitally with QMS Software.
Note: Training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite (Academy); participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training alone does not grant the related ISO certificate; certification is issued after the audit of an accredited certification body, and the training prepares you for that process. Internationally recognized qualifications such as Lead Auditor depend on the course being accredited or approved (for example by Exemplar Global or IRCA). Duration and scope are set according to your needs ().
Instead of auditing several standards separately, it audits the common clauses in one pass, which shortens audit time, reduces repetition, increases consistency and saves resources. This is an efficient approach for organizations that hold several ISO certificates.
The most common integration is ISO 9001-14001-45001; standards that share the same high-level structure, such as ISO 27001 and ISO 50001, can also be included in the integration. The scope is set according to the certificates the organization holds or targets.
Having foundation knowledge of the relevant standards (or having taken foundation and/or single-standard internal auditor training) is recommended; this makes it faster to adapt to the logic of integrated auditing. The exact prerequisite is set according to the training plan.
A single certificate of attendance or achievement showing integrated internal auditor competence is issued at the end of the training; this certificate shows that you can carry out integrated internal audits for the standards covered.
We will design the course around your team; you can also assign courses through the corporate training software (LMS) and track completion and certificates of attendance from a single platform.
