KVKK foundation awareness training gives all employees the basic concepts of personal data protection, the data security rules and the correct behavior in daily processes (email, forms, file sharing, customer communication). Employee awareness is critical if KVKK compliance is to work in practice. Participants receive a certificate of attendance.
KVKK foundation awareness training covers, in a practical way, the basic concepts of Law No. 6698 and how employees should process personal data correctly and securely in their daily work. The training covers what personal data and special categories of personal data are, the concepts of data controller, data processor and data subject, the principles and legal grounds for processing personal data, the distinction between the privacy notice and explicit consent, the data security rules (strong passwords, clear desk and clear screen, email and file sharing security, device and remote working security, care against phishing attacks), routing data subject applications correctly, what to do when a data breach is noticed and why breach notification matters. The training is made concrete with examples from the real processes of departments (HR, sales, customer service, accounting). Since a significant share of data breaches comes from human error rather than technical vulnerabilities, this awareness is one of the most effective administrative measures.
The training is suitable and recommended for all employees without exception, because everyone who processes personal data carries risk and responsibility under KVKK. It requires no prerequisite. A certificate of attendance is issued at the end of the training and attendance records are kept; these records form the evidence showing that the administrative measures KVKK expects (employee training and awareness) are applied. KVKK training does not on its own complete the organization's KVKK compliance; work such as the inventory, VERBIS, policies and contracts is also required (see our KVKK Consulting page). This training can be rolled out to all personnel with corporate training software (LMS), assigned and tracked to completion.
Note: Training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite (Academy); participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training alone does not grant the related ISO certificate; certification is issued after the audit of an accredited certification body, and the training prepares you for that process. Internationally recognized qualifications such as Lead Auditor depend on the course being accredited or approved (for example by Exemplar Global or IRCA). No. Awareness training is critical but not sufficient on its own; work such as the personal data processing inventory, VERBIS, privacy notice and consent texts, retention and disposal, contracts and technical and administrative measures is also required. The training strengthens the human side of that whole.
The certificate of attendance and the attendance records are the evidence that the training took place, and they show that the administrative measures were applied in any review by the Authority. For this reason it is recommended that training is recorded (for example with an LMS).
