ISO/IEC 42001 training introduces the first AI management system (AIMS) standard for organizations that develop or use artificial intelligence systems. It builds knowledge of responsible and trustworthy artificial intelligence, AI specific risk management and the requirements of the standard. A certificate of attendance is issued to participants.
ISO/IEC 42001 is a management system standard (AIMS, AI Management System) for developing and using artificial intelligence systems in a responsible, trustworthy and manageable way, and it shares the common high level structure with other ISO management systems. The training covers artificial intelligence and AI management system concepts, the principles of responsible and trustworthy AI (transparency, accountability, fairness, security, privacy), the assessment of AI specific risks and impacts (AI impact assessment), the context of the organization and interested parties, leadership and the AI policy, AI system life cycle controls, data management and quality, human oversight, monitoring and improvement. The relationship of the standard with other frameworks (for example information security ISO 27001, privacy, developing AI regulations) is also covered. As artificial intelligence spreads rapidly, this standard is becoming steadily more important for organizations that want to manage AI in a trustworthy and compliant way.
The training is suitable for artificial intelligence and data science teams, the product, compliance and risk officers of organizations that develop or use AI products, information security teams and managers. Basic knowledge of AI and/or of management systems helps but is not a prerequisite. A certificate of attendance or achievement is issued at the end of the training. ISO 42001 training does not on its own give the organization the ISO 42001 certificate; certification is obtained through the audit of an accredited body and the training prepares you for that process.
