ISO 9001 internal auditor training develops the people who will plan and run internal audits in your organization. It builds practical command of audit planning, checklist preparation, evidence gathering and the reporting of findings and nonconformities. The training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite; participants receive an internal auditor certificate of attendance or achievement.
The internal auditor training goes beyond the ISO 9001 requirements and focuses on the question of 'how do you audit', taking the audit principles of ISO 19011 as its basis. The training covers the purpose of internal audit and the audit principles, preparing the audit programme and the audit plan, building audit checklists, the opening meeting, audit technique (gathering objective evidence through interviews, observation and record review), evaluating findings, classifying nonconformities and reporting them correctly, the closing meeting and corrective action follow-up. The training is reinforced with sample scenarios, case studies and practical audit exercises; participants get audit practice on examples close to real processes. The aim is for participants to reach the competence to run impartial, evidence-based internal audits that add value.
The training suits quality team members, process and unit owners who carry out or are planned to carry out internal audits in the organization, and employees who want a deeper understanding of the quality management system. Participants are advised to have foundation-level ISO 9001 knowledge (or to have taken the foundation training). At the end of the training a certificate of attendance or achievement is issued that shows internal auditor competence; it records that the person has received the training needed to carry out internal audits inside the organization. Internal audit is a mandatory requirement of ISO 9001 (clause 9.2), so every certified organization needs competent internal auditors. Sistem Patent Kalite delivers the training and, if you wish, also supports the planning of internal audits and running them digitally with the QMS Software.
Note: Training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite (Academy); participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training alone does not grant the related ISO certificate; certification is issued after the audit of an accredited certification body, and the training prepares you for that process. Internationally recognized qualifications such as Lead Auditor depend on the course being accredited or approved (for example by Exemplar Global or IRCA). Duration and scope are set according to your needs ().
Participants are advised to have foundation-level ISO 9001 knowledge (or to have taken the ISO 9001 foundation training), so that they adapt faster to the audit techniques. The exact prerequisite is set with the training plan.
The document issued at the end of the training is a certificate of attendance or achievement showing that the person has taken internal auditor training, and it is sufficient for internal audits inside the organization. An internationally accredited 'auditor' title requires accredited training at Lead Auditor level.
ISO 9001 requires internal audits to be impartial; the principle is that nobody audits their own work. For that reason, training more than one internal auditor according to the size of the organization helps the audit plan work properly. The number is set according to the structure of the organization.
Yes. Internal auditor training runs in a practical format with sample scenarios, checklist preparation, case studies and audit exercises. In this way participants reinforce the theory with real audit practice.
We will design the course around your team; you can also assign courses through the corporate training software (LMS) and track completion and certificates of attendance from a single platform.
