INFORMATION NOTICE ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

This information notice has been prepared by Sistem Patent A.S. to inform our customers about the personal data we process within the scope of our commercial activities, in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data and the related legislation.

3. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Within the data processing purposes set out above, personal data may be transferred to:

Audit firms and financial advisors, in accordance with the relevant legislation,
Law firms,
Contracted third-party companies for the provision of online sales services,
Banks and financial institutions,
Legally authorised public institutions and organisations, in line with their requests and limited to the purpose of those requests.

4. METHOD OF COLLECTION AND LEGAL GROUNDS

Your personal data is collected through our website, various contracts and information forms of all types, on the basis of your explicit consent or the other data processing conditions set out in the Law.

This information is collected so that the company's commercial operations can be conducted in accordance with the law, and so that Sistem Patent A.S. can continue its commercial activities and fulfil its statutory obligations correctly and in full.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS UNDER ARTICLE 11 OF THE LAW

Under Article 11 of the Law, every data subject may apply to Sistem Patent A.S. either by sending a notarised notice to the address above, or by applying in person with proof of identity, in order to:

a) Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
b) Request information if their personal data has been processed,
c) Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
d) Be informed of the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred, whether in Turkiye or abroad,
e) Request the correction of personal data that has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
f) Request the deletion or destruction of personal data, in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law,
g) Request that any operations carried out under (e) and (f) be communicated to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
h) Object to results that are produced against them through analysis of the processed data by automated systems,
i) Request compensation for any damage suffered as a result of unlawful processing of their personal data.

Applications submitted to us are answered within 30 (thirty) days at the latest from the date the request reaches our company, depending on the nature of the request. If the assessment and decision-making process requires a separate cost, the fee schedule set by the Personal Data Protection Board will apply.

EXPLICIT CONSENT NOTICE FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Sistem Patent A.S. acts as the "Data Controller" within the scope of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data. The purpose of this Explicit Consent Notice is to obtain the explicit consent of Sistem Patent A.S. customers for the situations set out below, in which the personal data processing conditions provided for in the Law cannot be met.

In situations that do not require explicit consent, data processing activities continue under the Information Notice; in situations that do require explicit consent, data is processed in accordance with the principles set out in the Information Notice.

On this basis, personal data may be processed by Sistem Patent A.S. for the following purposes:

Sending me communication messages and emails for sales, marketing and promotion related to products, services, stores and campaigns,
Identifying my opinions and complaints regarding products and services,
Building profiles and reports based on my hobbies, preferences, personal tastes, the pages I visit, my orders and complaints, in order to provide higher-quality service,
Carrying out marketing activities,
Setting up my membership records,
Sending printed promotional and advertising materials,
Processing data together with these purposes and sharing it with the parties listed in the Information Notice for these purposes.
