The ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System foundation training builds command of the logic of OHS management, hazard identification and risk assessment, worker participation and the requirements of the standard. The training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite; participants receive a certificate of attendance. (Note: this is a management system training and differs from the OHS training for workers that is mandatory under legislation.)
The ISO 45001 foundation training works through the requirements of the occupational health and safety management system as a whole. The training covers OHS concepts, the context of the organization and the needs of workers and interested parties, leadership, worker participation and consultation, hazard identification and the assessment of risks and opportunities, legal and other obligations, OHS objectives and planning, operational controls and management of change, emergency preparedness, incident investigation, monitoring and measurement, internal audit, management review and continual improvement. One of the defining features of ISO 45001 is worker participation and consultation, and the training also stresses this cultural dimension. The clauses of the standard are explained with examples. Note: this training differs from the basic OHS training that must be given to workers under occupational health and safety legislation; it is an ISO 45001 management system training.
The training suits OHS and quality teams, OHS specialists and officers, members of the OHS committee, managers and employees who want to understand the OHS management system; there is no prerequisite. A certificate of attendance or achievement is issued at the end of the training. ISO 45001 training does not by itself give the organization the ISO 45001 certificate; certification is obtained through the audit of an accredited body. This training also does not replace the OHS training for workers that is mandatory under legislation; it complements it. Sistem Patent Kalite delivers the training and can also provide consulting during the ISO 45001 certification process.
Note: Training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite (Academy); participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training alone does not grant the related ISO certificate; certification is issued after the audit of an accredited certification body, and the training prepares you for that process. Internationally recognized qualifications such as Lead Auditor depend on the course being accredited or approved (for example by Exemplar Global or IRCA). Duration and scope are set according to your needs ().
No. The ISO 45001 foundation training is a management system training; it does not replace the basic OHS training that must be given to workers under occupational health and safety legislation, it complements it. The aim and the scope of the two are different.
Yes. ISO 45001 is the international OHS management system standard that replaced the earlier OHSAS 18001, and its high-level structure (HLS) makes it compatible with other ISO standards. The training is based on the current ISO 45001.
Yes, participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. This is not the organization's ISO 45001 certificate; certification is obtained through the audit of an accredited certification body.
The foundation training is usually 1 day; the duration can change according to the content and the level of the participants. The exact duration is set after a needs analysis.
We will design the course around your team; you can also assign courses through the corporate training software (LMS) and track completion and certificates of attendance from a single platform.
