Within our resources and infrastructure, we deliver our services across the Republic of Turkey impartially, independently and without any distinction, within the accreditation framework, standards and processes, equally to every party that requests them.
In the way we structure and manage conformity assessment, we take part in no activity that could compromise our principles of independence and impartiality while delivering inspection and certification services.
Our management system, built in line with the accreditation standards in force, commits us to impartial, independent and equal activity, and to ongoing renewal.
While delivering conformity assessment services, we are aware of the importance of independence and impartiality, and we run analyses to prevent or reduce potential conflicts of interest to an acceptable level.
To safeguard our independence, our pricing policy separates audit costs from certification costs. Every applicant company receives the testing service. Issuing the certificate at the end of testing depends only on conformity to the relevant standards being established. Every company that meets the requirements receives the certificate; companies whose test results show they do not fully meet the conditions pay only the audit fee. Audit and certification stages are interconnected but treated as independent stages.
Apart from the information and documents that must legally be supplied to the authorities and persons entitled to request them under law, we keep every kind of customer information and document confidential, and we have committed our auditors, office staff and other suppliers to the same confidentiality principles in writing.
We do not carry out certification in areas where we identify a risk to our independence and impartiality.
To manage independence and impartiality, we run analyses to prevent potential conflicts of interest and we audit ourselves continuously.
