BRCGS Food Safety training builds knowledge of the requirements of the BRCGS food safety standard that is widely requested by global retail chains, of its fundamental clauses, of the grading system and of audit readiness. A certificate of attendance is issued to participants.
BRCGS Food Safety training covers the requirements of the BRCGS food safety standard recognized by GFSI. The training covers the structure of the BRCGS standard and GFSI recognition, senior management commitment and food safety culture, hazard and risk management (HACCP), the food safety and quality management system, site standards (facility, equipment, hygiene), product and process control, personnel (training, hygiene), the 'fundamental' clauses and their importance, the grades of nonconformities and the certification grading system (for example AA/A/B and the audit types), and audit readiness and the process. The training is based on the current version of the standard and is reinforced with real production examples.
The training is suitable for the food safety and quality teams, production officers and related staff of food manufacturers that aim for or maintain BRCGS certification; basic HACCP and food safety knowledge helps. A certificate of attendance or achievement is issued at the end of the training. BRCGS is requested often, especially for supply to retail chains in the United Kingdom and to international ones. Sistem Patent Kalite both delivers the training and can provide consulting in the preparation for the BRCGS certification process.
Note: Training is delivered by Sistem Patent Kalite (Academy); participants receive a certificate of attendance or achievement. Training alone does not grant the related ISO certificate; certification is issued after the audit of an accredited certification body, and the training prepares you for that process. Internationally recognized qualifications such as Lead Auditor depend on the course being accredited or approved (for example by Exemplar Global or IRCA). Duration and scope are set according to your needs ().
BRCGS is a food safety standard recognized by GFSI that is requested from food suppliers especially by retail chains in the United Kingdom and by many international ones. It matters for manufacturers that supply these chains or aim to do so.
BRCGS audits end with a grade (for example AA, A, B) based on the number and the type of the nonconformities found. The training strengthens audit readiness by teaching the nonconformity grades, the fundamental clauses and how the grade is determined.
All three are food safety schemes recognized by GFSI and serve a similar purpose; their structures and some of their requirements differ. Which one is preferred usually depends on the target market or the customer request; the training covers the requirements specific to BRCGS.
Yes, a certificate of attendance or achievement is issued. This is not the organization's BRCGS certificate; certification is obtained through the audit of an approved certification body.
We will design the course around your team; you can also assign courses through the corporate training software (LMS) and track completion and certificates of attendance from a single platform.
