RoHS 2 Directive and CE marking

RoHS 2, officially Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 1 July 2011 and replaced the original RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
