How to Obtain a Barcode Number

How is a barcode number obtained?

To obtain a barcode number, submit the documents listed below to Sistem Patent Kalite.

• Power of attorney
• List of products to which the barcode will be applied
• Notarised declaration (template provided)
• Latest year's income statement (signed off by a certified public accountant)
• Certified income statement for the most recent fiscal year from your accountant
• Trade registry gazette for newly incorporated firms
• For newly incorporated firms, a photocopy of the trade registry gazette in place of the income statement
• Blank income statement even if the firm has generated no income
• Proof of current activity from the firm's registered chamber (chamber registry certificate)

Chamber registry certificate confirming your firm is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen.
