The documents required for barcode registration are listed below.

• Power of attorney
• List of products to which the barcode will be applied
• Notarised declaration (template provided)
• Latest year's income statement (signed off by a certified public accountant)
• Certified income statement for the most recent fiscal year from your accountant
• Trade registry gazette for newly incorporated firms
• For newly incorporated firms, a photocopy of the trade registry gazette in place of the income statement
• Blank income statement even if the firm has generated no income
• Proof of current activity from the firm's registered chamber (chamber registry certificate)
• Chamber registry certificate confirming your firm is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry or the Chamber of Tradesmen and Craftsmen
