Application requirements for the TSEK certificate

The TSEK certificate covers products that do not yet have a published Turkish standard. Because the scope is defined by a TSE criterion rather than a full standard, the application file needs to meet several specific requirements before it moves into review.

Firm-level documents

The applicant firm provides an official document stating its legal status, and that document is submitted in a notarised copy. A notarised signature circular for the persons authorised to represent and bind the firm is required alongside it. Where the applicant is different from the manufacturer, the contract between the two parties is included in the file, and the signatures on that contract cannot come from the same individual signing on both sides.

Trademark and authorisation documents

Trademark registration evidence for the mark that will appear on the certified product or its packaging is required. If the trademark is still in registration, the pending application can stand in its place. For applications filed by an authorised dealer, the dealer-principal agreement notarised with the principal firm is included, together with copies of the notarised signature lists. Applications can also be filed through a notarised power of attorney; in that case the power of attorney and the attorney's signature declaration go on file.

Product and site documents

A technical dossier for the product is submitted, with drawings, material specifications, and the intended use where relevant. Trade registry gazette records, the tax plate, and a manufacturing licence cover the operating side. If any of the test or inspection evidence already exists from related schemes, that evidence is included so the reviewer does not duplicate work.

Fee and acceptance

The application fee is paid in advance and the bank receipt is included with the file. Applications that are paid are moved into review. Any documentary gaps can be closed during the audit window, but a file with outstanding gaps cannot be closed to certification.
