TSEK Quality Conformity Certification
How the TSEK Quality Certificate is obtained
Sistem Patent Kalite auditors start with a site review to confirm that the product requirements and the standard published by TSE are met (ceiling height, production-area footprint, and the like). The auditors then check whether a defined product-control system is in place and review the quality management system that keeps product consistency under control over time. Raw materials must come in at a quality level that meets the standard. The flow from raw-material intake through to finished-product release must stay at the defined standard and at defined consistency.
For the TSEK certificate, part of the production workforce needs to have completed defined training. The quality reviews required by the applicable standard are then performed, and all records are kept under the quality management system in a form that supports retrospective review. The tests and inspections required by the standard are carried out on a continuing basis. Some of these tests can run in accredited laboratories equipped to perform them.
If the testing and site review close without issues and no nonconformity is found in the production area or the production flow, the TSE Certificate of Conformity to Turkish Standards is issued with a 12-month validity period and a yearly surveillance audit.
