The GOST R Measurement Certificate, also known as the Pattern Approval Certificate for Measuring Instruments (and sometimes called the metrological certificate, measuring-instruments certificate, or I&C certificate), is the document issued by the Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology confirming that a given type of measuring instrument has been approved under the methods set out in the applicable regulation and meets the valid conditions.
The Pattern Approval Certificate for Measuring Instruments is issued under Federal Law No. 102-FZ (On Uniformity of Measurements, as amended on 26 June 2008).
