Who Issues an ISO Certificate?

ISO is the abbreviation of the International Organization for Standardization, founded in 1947 and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. An ISO certificate confirms that a business operating in any service area delivers its services in line with a defined standard, and demonstrates competence in that field. Any certificate issued against a standard published by ISO falls under the umbrella term ISO certificate. As for who issues it: the certificate is issued by an accredited certification body. To hold real value, the issuing body should itself be accredited by an internationally recognized accreditation organization and by TURKAK (the Turkish Accreditation Agency).
