SEDEX is a web-based, international platform where suppliers record ethical-practice outcomes implemented under labour law and customer standards and share them with the relevant customers. The platform is dynamic and evolves alongside shifting conditions in global operating environments, producing new policy solutions over time.
SEDEX is a solution for reducing risk, protecting brand reputation, communicating supply-chain activities, and running efficient, modern supply-chain management. Participating firms connect to the SEDEX shared database and engage with other members. Audit reports of firms that have gone through ethical and social-conformity assessments are visible to other member firms, which is how supply chains are built up through the platform.
