CCC China Compulsory Certification
CCC Certificate or Mark
CCC certification (China Compulsory Certificate), also known as the China conformity certificate, is mandatory for products placed on the Chinese market or exported to China. CCC is a broad-scope certification that is recognised internationally as protecting consumer rights and interests.
Published by China in December 2001, the product certification regulation entered force in 2002 and required CCC for around 35 product categories. From motor vehicles to household appliances, lighting devices, and eyewear, CCC marking became mandatory across many product types. Since 1 August 2013, CCC has been a requirement for any organisation that wants to export products to China.
