IFS PACsecure was developed by the Packaging Consortium in cooperation with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and industry representatives.

Scope of IFS PAC

IFS PACsecure is a safety and quality standard that applies to manufacturers of primary and secondary packaging materials, regardless of material type. Generic HACCP models and workbooks are provided by PAC, covering 24 process flows, so producers can identify potential hazards in their own packaging manufacturing processes.

IFS PACsecure was developed for manufacturers working with:

• Paper and board
• Other natural materials
