ESMA (the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology, now part of MoIAT) operates the conformity schemes that govern access to the United Arab Emirates market. An ESMA certificate confirms that a product meets the applicable UAE technical requirements and can carry the ECAS conformity mark.
