ETL SEMKO (formerly the Electrical Testing Laboratory) certification at Sistem Patent Kalite is handled by a dedicated electrical-certification team. Before 1990, electrical equipment sold in Sweden carried the 'S' mark as the mandatory certification; this was later replaced by the CE marking for products placed on the Swedish market.
