Yunsa, which operates in yarn, weaving, and dyeing, received an award from KalDer Turkey Quality Association at the Quality Circles Sharing Conference held in Ankara.
At the Quality Circles and Kaizen Awards held annually by KalDer Turkey Quality Association, Yunsa received the 21st Kaizen Award for projects that use natural resources at a high level of efficiency and meet the requirements of the applicable standards. Yunsa won the award for its Machine Speed Loss Elimination project. The firm is expected to continue leading on national and international achievements.
Yunsa demonstrates its responsible use of natural resources and its environmental responsibility through ISO 9001, the foundation of quality standards, and ISO 14001, the environmental management system standard. Under OHSAS 18001 and ISO 27001, the firm also protects the health and safety of its workforce, safeguards the information security of customers, solution partners, and suppliers, and pursues continuous improvement.
Under ISO 50001 energy management, Yunsa reduces energy consumption, helps limit environmental pollution, and supports sustainability. Yunsa is the first company in the Sabanci Group to obtain ISO 50001 certification. Each year, the firm reviews projects and improvement work against ISO 50001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001, and implements the most significant ones.
