Energy Identification Certificate Required for Homes and Workplaces
The Energy Identification Certificate is the building-level version of the A, B, and C classification seen on refrigerators and washing machines. The certificate captures the shape of a building, the type of energy it uses, and the forms of energy consumed, and issues a classification on that basis. From May, the Energy Identification Certificate will be required for homes, including for purchase, sale, and rental.
The Energy Identification Certificate is a document that prospective tenants should also ask for. Buyers and tenants of homes or commercial spaces should know which class the property falls into. You are about to move in, so how much energy will you consume? That needs to be on the record.
As Sistem Patent Kalite, a certification and testing consultancy firm, we can support you on this.
