Antep Fistik Evi Aims to Become a Global Brand

Antep Fistik Evi, a four-generation business producing Gaziantep's geographic-indication-protected Antep pistachio, aims to lead the global market by bringing new products to it.

Fistik Evi is taking significant export steps with flavors that go beyond the traditional taste of Antep pistachio. With four generations of experience, the firm broadens its range by offering pistachio in a variety of product forms. Chairman Mehmet Kavsara said the product range now reaches around 60 items. Fistik Evi is among Turkey's leading brands in pistachio, chocolate, Turkish delight, halva, baklava, ice cream, and dried fruits and nuts. The firm exports internationally and, to support that, holds the quality-standard certificates required. Kavsara said Fistik Evi is certified to ISO 9001, the backbone of any quality management system; to ISO 22000, which shows food-producing firms have the documented hygiene-management capability required; to International BRC; and to HALAL, so that all consumers can eat the products with confidence.

Fistik Evi is working to become a recognized brand in the Turkish and global markets. It pursues this with advanced production technology, careful work by qualified staff, and no compromise on quality. Holding BRC certification and ISO 22000 certification itself demonstrates that the firm meets the conditions required of a company at this level of quality. These standards are also needed to participate in trade fairs. The Chairman said Fistik Evi has recently focused on international fairs, attended events that gather global food firms, held bilateral meetings, and begun exporting to 5 countries. He added that while promoting Fistik Evi, the firm is also introducing Antep pistachio to the world, making fair attendance valuable both for the firm and for Turkey.
